Notes
Release is a sales/availability reference. Date source: https://news.samsung.com/global/after-record-breaking-preorders-samsung-announces-global-availability-of-new-galaxy-s22-series-and-galaxy-tab-s8-series . Released Android 16 is verified in the manufacturer log for SM-S906B; market/carrier timing and builds can differ. Security end is an estimated month: availability reference plus five years, not a manufacturer cutoff.
Notes
Manufacturer commitment: up to four OS generations and five security years. No separate OS support duration asserted. Final Android and security end are calculated, not an official cutoff. Current cadence: https://security.samsungmobile.com/workScope.smsb . Timing may differ by market and carrier.
