Notes
Consumer 5G model, not Enterprise Edition. Date follows the global availability announcement; earlier regional sales may exist. Date source: https://www.samsungmobilepress.com/articles/samsung-galaxy-a56-5g-galaxy-a36-5g-and-galaxy-a26-5g-are-now-available-worldwide . Security end is a calculated month, not a manufacturer cutoff day. Verified released Android major version: 16, based on the linked model/market. Rollout and patch builds may differ by region and carrier. Top entry in the linked Samsung model/region-specific firmware log rechecked 2026-10-12: Android 16. This does not establish simultaneous availability in every region.
Notes
Up to 6 OS upgrades and 6 security years. Final Android version is calculated from launch OS plus upgrade count; security end is estimated from availability reference plus years, at month precision. Cadence source: https://security.samsungmobile.com/workScope.smsb . Market and carrier timing may differ. Cadence rechecked 2026-10-12 against Samsung Mobile Security scope. This is not re-verification of the entire support commitment.
